What is BlueWishes about?
BlueWishes is about the ability to have any Amazon wishlist help out poor kids by altering the URL in your webpage HTML but just a little bit.

The BlueWishes Form is a link generator which will produce a link to your wishlist.

The difference in this new BlueWish link to your wishlist is that whenever someone clicks on the link (which you can put in your webpage to replace your current Wishlist link) and buys something from your wishlist, money will go to poor kids!

Why should I use BlueWishes?
I think we can all agree that Wishlists are pretty cool things. We get to go to Amazon, and make a little list of all the things we'd like to have. We then post a link to our wishlist on our webpages, and sometimes, one of our friends decides to buy something for us from it.

BlueWishes alters the code in the link to your Wishlist slightly (although the link will go to the exact same place) so that any if anyone does buy something for you after clicking on the link, Amazon will send 5% of the price to BlueSphere!

What's a Wishlist ID?
A Wishlist ID is a 12-digit code that Amazon assigns to every single wishlist that someone creates. In order that the BlueWish Link Generator can generate a link to your particular wishlist, it needs to know the ID that has been given to your Wishlist.

The easiest way to find out the ID of your wishlist is to go to Amazon and look at the "About You" section while you are logged in. You'll see a page with things you've recently reviewed, and a short description of yourself, if you've entered one. Somewhere around the description will be a link to your wishlist, and the URL will look something like this:

http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos
/registry/Y5Z5BVJU5C6R/103-5923340-4735067

Your wishlist ID will be the 12-digit code after "/registry/" that I've marked in red for you to see.

I can help poor kids by altering my wishlist link a bit?
In a word, Yes! Using the BlueWish Link Generator creates a link that not only will direct people to your Amazon wishlist, but will help raise money for poor kids! Also, this charitable bit may encourage people to buy stuff from your wishlist for you! Yay!
